dc.description.abstract The family Simaroubaceae includes a number of plants with anticancer properties which can be used in future for drug designing against cancer. Cancer is a disease in which some of the body cells grow and divide uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body. It is the second most leading cause of death in the world. But survival rates are now improving due to the application of modern pharmacology. Plant derived medicines are now using extensively in the treatment of cancer. en_US
